It started with one problem: finding reliable subs
Gametime Hero was created by two founders: one a former Googler and sports-obsessed CTO, the other a CEO with 15+ years of leadership experience and a lifelong athlete. Both are certified pickleball coaches who believe in the power of sports and hobbies to bring people together.
It all started with a simple problem: finding reliable subs. Not just any players, but the right skill level, the right position and the right time. It was chaos. No one had a good system for it. So we thought: what if we built one?
We started surveying organizers and players. What we found was staggering: every community was struggling with the same messy process of organizing events, finding players, managing payments and staying connected.
So we rolled up our sleeves and started building. And the first version? Yeah, it was trash. But it was something. People used it. They gave us feedback. We listened. And we improved.
We iterated fast. We launched features. Broke a few things. Fixed them. Then broke some more. But each version got better. Six months later, we had over 3,000 users.

There is no one-click import yet, but moving over is quick: recreate your community, bulk-invite your members by email or share a join link, and post your events. We help groups make the switch all the time.

No. Gametime Hero runs in the browser on a phone or a computer, and the people you invite open your link the same way. There is no mobile app to install yet; one is in the works.
Is there a contract?
